Brisbane brunch guide – 5 places you can’t miss

Brisbane and brunch are good together, and not just because they alliterate. As Australia’s third-largest city, Brisbane’s breakfast scene rivals the best in Australia, and offers endless sunshine to sweeten the deal. From inner city converted warehouses to leafy paradise retreats, and from hole-in-the-wall hideaways to unparalleled eggs benedict institutions, this city takes brunch seriously. Image
For the second time in 12 weeks, we decided to park our camper trailer at Porepunkah, approximately 6kms from Bright in the Victorian high country. Bright is one of my favourite towns in Victoria as its such a pretty place, this time of year though its very busy. Day 3 – Snorkelling the Reef

We had booked a trip to the outer reef with Quiksilver Reef Cruises. I was warned to take seasick tablets as the ride out could be a little rough. I heeded that advice, many didn’t & paid the price. I wondered when we left the dock, why the cruise staff were standing around with airline sick bags, I soon found out!! Luckily not for us!! It was pretty choppy & I was glad to get out to the reef.  It takes approximately 1.5hrs to get out to the outer reef.
